Gayl Ann Koster, age 51, of Nunica passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at her home. She was born May 30, 1958, in Grand Haven to Jared and Melva (Stark) Gieske, and she married Robert J. Koster on September 20, 1980, in Nunica.
Gayl worked in the finishing department at Versatile Wood Solutions in Nunica. She enjoyed bowling, hunting, nursery plants, and gardening. She also enjoyed golf and watching football on television.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert; her parents, Jared and Melva Gieske of Nunica; her mother-in-law, Beatrice (Len) Waldo of Spring Lake; her step-mother-in-law, Shilah Koster of Nunica; her brother, Greg (Tinna) Gieske of Nunica; and special nephew, Nathan.
The service for Gayl will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 3, 2009, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Nunica with Rev. William C. Lahrman officiating. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions to a charity of choice are appreciated.
