David L. Beaudoin, age 64, of Spring Lake passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at his home. He was born December 20, 1944 in Charlevoix, MI to Lyle and Edith (Cooper) Beaudoin.
Mr. Beaudoin retired from Anderson Pattern as a pattern maker and had served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member and former president of the Pattern Makers Union and the Charleviox Rod & Gun Club. Dave enjoyed spending time and hunting on Beaver Island.
He is survived by his loving companion, Edith (DeJoung); a daughter, Amy Beaudoin of Petoskey; a son, Bruce (Katie) Beaudoin of Charlevoix; 2 grandchildren, Jake and Abby; a brother, Joe Beaudoin of Charlevoix and Edith’s children: Donna (Mike) Whitcomb of Kalamazoo, Denise McMillan of Spring Lake, Dawn (Dave) Tenbrink of Nunica and Rick Huss of North Muskegon. Dave was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Lochner.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Monday, October 12, 2009 at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Spring Lake. An additional memorial visitation will be held Thursday, October 15, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Winchester Funeral Home in Charlevoix.
