Baby Samantha Joy Holwerda, born October 23, 2009, in Grand Rapids, MI, to Tim and Amy Holwerda of Muskegon, passed from the arms of her parents into the arms of Jesus in the early morning hours of October 24, 2009. She spent her entire 12 hours in this world surrounded by family and friends. Although never meant for this world, she will forever live in our hearts.
She is survived by her parents, Tim and Amy (Breier) Holwerda; 3 sisters: Madelynn, age 9; Isabelle, age 6; and Evelynn, age 5; grandparents Arthur and Diana Breier and Sidney and Elizabeth Holwerda; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, November 6, 2009 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Grand Haven with Rev. Fr. William Langlois presiding. Visitation with the family will take place one hour before the service at church. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Patrick's Catholic Church Nursery.
