Stuart W. Duga, Jr., age 41, of Grand Rapids and formerly of Grand Haven passed away Monday, November 2, 2009, at his home. He was born August 1, 1968, in Grand Haven to Stuart W. Duga, Sr. and Colleen (LeMieux) Duga.
Stuart was employed as a retail sales manager for LensCrafters in Grand Rapids. He truly enjoyed the finer things in life and had a special love for music, cars, fashion, and his friends and family.
He is survived by his parents, Colleen Duga and Stu (Judy Brown) Duga, both of Grand Haven; two sisters, Lisa (Joseph) Berger of Grand Rapids and Genevieve Brown of Grand Haven; two brothers, Sean Duga and Scott (Heather) Duga, both of Grand Haven; ten nieces and nephews; his uncle, Fred LeMieux of Grand Haven; and ZsaZsa and CoCo. He was preceded in death by his companion, Jacob Woods; all of his grandparents; and a cousin, Caesy LeMieux.
The service for Stuart will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 6, 2009, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Spring Lake with Rev. Fr. Daniel DePew presiding. Friends may meet the family 6-9 p.m. Thursday, November 5, at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven. Interment will be in Oakridge Cemetery in Marshall, MI. Memorial contributions in honor of Stuart may be made to the Caesy LeMieux Scholarship Fund at the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation.
