Mary Frances “Fran” Henning, age 87, of Spring Lake passed away December 4, 2009, at Heartwood Hospice House. She was born February 14, 1922, in Canton, Ohio. She attended Heidelberg College where she met Robert G. Henning. They married on June 12, 1942. He preceded her in death in 1997.
Fran is survived by daughters Anne (Richard) Meyers of Spring Lake and Roma Henning of Miami, Florida; grandchildren Jeff (Alycia) Meyers of Caledonia and Jennifer (Kevin) Anderson; and great-grandson Calvin Anderson of Fruitport. She is also survived by her sister, Alice Jean Vitatoe and niece Barbara Shelow of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
